May 13, 2011 – The Value of Coastal Fishing and Tourism

Below are some recently released materials from Environment America and Sierra Club. The fact sheet highlights the damages done to coastal tourism and fishing in the Gulf of Mexico after BP’s Deepwater Horizon spill. April 12, 2011 – Impacts Briefing #3, Stories from the Gulf: Living with the Oil Disaster

The first of a planned six congressional briefings focused on the oil and gas industry’s impacts to public health.  Collectively, the six briefings will examine the consequences of our addiction to oil and fossil fuels and will explore ways to move the United States beyond oil.
